Yesterday Jamla Jedi Master 9th Wonder advised all of those on Twitter that The Soul Council will be releasing a  series of 7 track compilation EPs titled The Brightlady Sessions.

Here’s how it works:

Every two months The Soul Council will select 2-3 artists from different cities to feature on that month’s project. The artists chosen will be invited to Brightlady Studios to record the project (each participant is responsible for their own travel accommodations; you can camp out at the studio).  The project will be promoted by Jamla Artists, The Soul Council and Jamla Army.

If you are interested in being considered send your name, hometown, social media info (twitter,bandcamp, Face Book, etc.), and TWO songs to brightyladysessions@gmail.com .

Exciting Opportunities!

Yesterday Soul Council Producer AMP took to Twitter to announce he would be releasing a compilation album in the coming months.  He is welcoming emcees to submit 1-3 of their best tracks. Those chosen will be given the oppurtunity to rap over one of AMP’s beats; they have recieved the prestigious thumbs up of Preemo and so many others!
